Celebrate Safety
Here are 10 essential tips to enjoy our events safely.
1. Alcohol and drug use is never risk-free
It's important to remember that consuming alcohol or drugs always involves risk. You're free to enjoy the party, but be mindful of your body. Pay attention to how much you take and how your body reacts. Everyone responds differently to substances, and risky situations can arise depending on what you take. The best approach is to stay aware of what you consume, get informed, and act responsibly.
2. I love my ears
Music is the heart of the party, but protect your ears from overly loud sounds. If the volume exceeds 80 dB(A), consider wearing earplugs – they’re available at every event. It’s also a good idea not to dance too close to the speakers, even with earplugs.
3. Think about yourself, care for others
Take care of yourself and your friends. Solidarity is essential at events. Don’t leave your friends alone, and agree on a meeting point in case you get separated. Be honest about what you're consuming, and don’t pressure others into doing anything they’re uncomfortable with. Everyone is responsible for their well-being, and first aid stations are there to help if needed.
4. Respect your rhythm: eat, sleep, party
Even if you want to party non-stop, it’s important to recharge. Get enough sleep and stay hydrated. Know your limits, and take breaks to eat and drink water to avoid dehydration.
5. Know your limits, be responsible
Decide in advance how you want to behave at the event. Talk to your friends, be responsible with your consumption, and don’t let peer pressure push you past your boundaries.
6. Take time to chill
If you start feeling unwell, take a break. Find a cooler spot, rest, and drink water. If you really don’t feel well, don’t hesitate to ask for help from the first aid team.
7. Always have safe sex
If you engage in intimacy during the event, make sure you have condoms to protect your health. Respect your partner’s boundaries—and your own. Sex should be enjoyable, responsible, and without regrets.
8. The first aid team is your friend
If you feel sick or have a problem, don’t hesitate to go to the first responders. They’re here to help and will give you the support you need to be safe.
9. Don’t drink, do drugs, and drive
If you've had alcohol or taken drugs, don’t get behind the wheel. You could be putting your life and others at risk. Choose a designated sober driver or take public transport. Safety first!
10. Plan your way home
Make sure you have a safe way to get home. Take a taxi, use public transport, or designate a sober driver. Don’t take unnecessary risks. Party hard, live in the moment—but always safely and respectfully.
